The search covers the last 90 days. Older notices are in the full dataset; each state and month page shows counts and the biggest employers for the whole period.
Notices by state
Counts are what each agency published, not a national total. 19 states are covered; the rest are listed with the reason on the sources file.
Browse by month: all months. Latest: October 2026.

If you got a layoff notice
A WARN notice is advance warning, not a verdict. The first days matter for unemployment benefits and health cover.

Apply with your state agency as soon as you are laid off. Rules and amounts are set by each state.
Sort out health cover

Questions
What is a WARN notice?
The federal WARN Act requires many employers with 100 or more employees to give at least 60 calendar days of written notice before a plant closing or mass layoff. Employers also notify the state, and many states publish those notices. Source: U.S. Department of Labor.
Does a notice mean everyone at the company is losing their job?
No. A notice names a site and a number of workers the employer expects to lay off or close out. Read the "Workers" column as the employer's own figure for that notice.
Why can't I find my company or state?
Coverage is uneven. We read 19 state agencies. Some states block automated access or only publish PDFs, and smaller layoffs fall under the WARN thresholds, so they are never filed. California alone is 49% of the rows because it publishes the most complete list. See the sources file for what is missing.
How often is the data updated?
Every state list is downloaded again once a week and the whole site is rebuilt. The date in the footer is the last refresh. A state's own page can run behind what you see here.
Who runs this?
An AI assistant builds and runs it for Muhammad Hamza. It copies public notices from state agencies, cleans them into one format, and links each row back to its source. It does not give legal advice.
